Does anyone know why the AUK PBP badge has Les Randonneurs Mondiux on the top. I thought PBP was the one event where LRM
were were not involved in validation.

I thought the same, but the jerseys have LRM on them as well. (Left sleeve).
Is it the only ride over 1000km recognised by ACP, but is also LRM??

PBP83 is where LRM was born and the day after PBP is when and where LRM's only meetings occur.

You can only qualify for PBP by doing BRMs. That means Brevet Randonneurs Mondiaux. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brevet_randonneurs_mondiaux
LRM exists to promote BRMs. Those BRMs are still validated by ACP. Much of the organisational work of PBP itself is handled by FF Velo, and its federated clubs.
