If as she originally claimed, she was taking it despite not having realised it was banned, nope.

The final shot to win the match was sensational.

3 Brit men into the second round, excellent. Now lets hope Konta can join Watson, and fingers crossed for Robson to have a decent match.

Hmmm, well that jinxed them  :-\

Murray's just watching. What's up Andy?

He needs to do some serious self motivation because he's really not there. Perhaps yesterday took it out of him in more ways than one.

Ive been stuck at home sick since Thursday. The Test Match and RG16 have saved my sanity!

The ITV4 coverage is very respectable. I'm one of those dinosaurs that still loves Auntie's coverage of Wimbledon; this coverage has a lot of the same qualities.

It's been a poor year for fashion so far. The boys wearing those awful zebra shirts; Konta and opponent wearing identical dresses. Quel horreur!?!

He pulled that one out of the fire. Incredible stuff. The guy can scrap, that's for sure. Massive credit.

If you normally take a bet on the highest number of sets to win a Grand Slam, this could be your year.  ;D

Not so difficult in the end.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

Only the tenth man in the modern era to reach all four grand slams.

Whatever happens, on Sunday evening there will be a new first time winner of the French Open.

Just seen Djokovic being interviewed. His body language says he's nervous.

Murray's coming to ripeness at just about the right time. That was a tough tough match, Stan is no sucker and he fought. If Murray can get his head in the right place then he's in with more than a shout. Djokovic is right to be nervous.

Come on Andy!

I feel like Andy wants it more. They both have had wobbles in the previous rounds, and I think overall they're pretty evenly matched these days. My heart says Andy ftw; my head can't decide.

Mats Wilander said Andy played the best tactical match he's ever seen at the French Open. From someone of his pedigree, that's high praise, and Wilander has been pretty critical of Murray in the past.

I'm generally not a fan, but today I thought she waas pretty gracious in defeat.

It was also the most entertaining wimmins final I have seen in a long time. Clay can be very dull, but they both tried to smash each-other off the court. Great stuff.
