I've still got a couple of work things to do so I'm going to head direct to the Swan, hopefully for 8 or 8:15.  Table in the name of "Ted", I presume?

Was that you heading from Messing towards Tiptree that we went past in the opposite direction last night Fandango?

It was! I wondered who it was coming the other way as I struggled along. You two were motoring!

well, motoring is easy....when the wind is behind you and you are going downhill....it wasn't like that the whole way round though!

So this Wed I am proposing a trip to The Spiritual Home for the mid-Essex collective unless they fancy the extremes of East or West this week.

Anyone else?

The Oddie have said the will open until 10 on Wednesday so I have booked a table in their marquee - not heated but sheltered.

It must be a slow Sunday if I'm looking here. But, well done ted, I've been instructed to put us both on the list.👍

Should be a very Strangler- friendly venue as well.

Given this will be the last for a while, I suggest we aim to keep to 2 groups rather than become thinly spread across 3 venues. Hopefully that works for Tomsk, Toby’s dad and New Nick.

Toby's dad has confirmed, and I am guessing Tomsk will venture once more to the Spiritual Home as his only issue was doing it too often, which will be unlikely for a short while.

 Just surfaced from post-very-windy-101 mile ride beer and food. Gosh but there's nothing like an impending Lockdown to concentrate the mind and get Wednesday organised early!

Well done, Tomsk - amazing stuff. Its getting very windy tomorrow but looks like it will be nice and calm for Wednesday.
Great timing there from the PM in making sure that he just missed our Wednesday night session for the bringing in of the rules. Finally he has done something I agree with!
So, thoughts moving forward - how about we all have a exercise buddy assigned that we meet with, in a field, at the side of the road, or in an audax hotel (one at each end of the bench) and exchange cans of beer over a quick conversation about how out excercise went and what goals we have for next week in terms of training?
Just a thought.

We could revive the Lockdown 'Ride a Mid-Essex route' and see who you bump into ... passing Abberton car park yesterday, I recalled meeting OD for a brew there back in the spring.

Bollocks, the Spiritual Home and Oddie lists are now full.  So...

The Somewhere Else List (maybe Cross Keys, Nounsley):

1. OD
2.
3.
4.
5.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Are these set routes or do you just make your own ones up?
