Is the crap/good/crap/good coinciding with being at work/home/work/home?

Jenners won't replace my collapsing pans because after 10 years I don't have proof of purchase. Understandable, but disappointing. I'll be buying replacements (eventually) elsewhere though.

I've got a hillclimb tomorrow and I've also got a cold.  How am I meant to bust a gut for 7 minutes when I can't even breathe?

Don't bother.  Do Gerry's Autumn Brevet instead.  You know it makes sense.

Equations were OK until I did O Level Mathematics and the paper told me to solve an equation which was not an equation (no = sign).
I put up my hand to complain and stupid invigilator told me it WAS an equation.

I abandoned question but was rather put out.
Maths teacher told me I was right months later but I'd lost much confidence.

Equations with greek letters in them are fine (unless handwritten by mathematicians, of course), up to the point where they require integration-by-pulling-things-out-of-your-arse.  So about halfway through A-level, then.

e-learning's all very well.  But some of us need a PERSON to talk us through all these bloody diagrams and algorithms and formulae.  Gah.   :(

Blow this for a game o' soldiers.

I thought I'd got some reasonable control over this damned chronic fatigue...I've had a month of feeling vaguely decent-not great, but without the real dips.

Bah!  Today's been a complete write-off!

Morrisons - why do you sell bottles of cleaner for GP contacts but not conditioner solution?  I mean, at a pinch you can get the worst off with conditioner, but you can't store them in cleaner   :o

While I'm at it, handy "flight packs" of lens solution - but only for soft lenses.  GP users don't fly, apparently (although anything longer than a two-shirter will mean check-in baggage anyway).

Go to Costco(there is one in Edinburgh), they do a most excellent Circulon set for (IIRC) ~£160 (retail value over £300) or a Costco own label Circulon copies for about 1/2 the price!  As a civil servant you can get personal membership (if you haven't already got one, well worth the money).

Well you can - it's only peroxide isn't it?  Back when I had GP lenses there were three solutions - a cleaner, a disinfectant (peroxide at 3% generally), and a neutraliser (catalyst to break down the peroxide). But nowadays (even for GP I thought) the norm is a single step clean/disinfect with a peroxide solution (no more rubbing the lens with cleaner and a finger) put into a case with a catalyst to break it down?
