This weekend I shall be mostly fettling

My mate is coming round with a bunch of bike bits and we intend him to leave with a completed, ridable machine. I may move the Saeco into the garage, set up the ghetto blaster with Tour de France by Kraftwerk and make it into a real bicycle workshop.

That sound like mucho fun, remember to take before and after photos :)

If I can find the time this weekend I would investigate why Stella is creaking like she does and give her a wash behind the ears.
Current mood: AARRRGGGGHHHHH !!! #bollockstobrexit

I've got to finish my daughter's Raleigh Superb before Sunday evening. It is running nicely (with new 700C wheels and real brakes) but the Sturmey Archer three-speed isn't working 'cos I lost the chain-stay-cable-stop.

The wonderful Henry Burton Cycles in Stafford had a spare one in stock!

Job done but no photos. My mate said he'd take some though. He's just ridden home on his bike anyway. The work went very smoothly indeed, brakes and gears set right first time, no cussing required.
