How to find out where Post Office vans come from?
« on: 09 August, 2008, 12:14:59 pm »
I recently reported regular appalling driving of Post Office vans to the Battersea community Policing uint. They've got back to me to discuss it, but they can't work out where the vans come from (i.e. their home depot). Does anyone know how I could find out? The route where I see them (seriously speeding and overtaking on the wrong side of the central islands etc.) is on Prince Albert Drive out by Battersea Park.

Note the registration numbers and ask them where the vans belong

If you get the number Royal Mail will know where they are based and who was driving, they record who get the keys.

Quite often there's a number painted on the bodywork which may give you a clue, i.e. Croydon depot has CRxxx.

Again, checking with Royal Mail should be able to focus in on the actual driver.
