Creative RSVP

We have been invited to a wedding and the couple sent a little video with details but ended with a challenge that the most creative RSVP response wins a prize.

Can I put it to the collective geniuses here for suggestions please

Semaphore in pressed flowers.
Morse with peas and carrots.
There's no vibrations, but wait.

Morse with peas and carrots.

Morse by flatulence.
Admission.  I'm actually not that fussed about cake.

How about a geocache location (with a suitable response hidden therein)?
Re-enact the diner scene from When Harry met Sally?
Here might be seen as slightly poor taste.
This would give a bit more of a frisson.

Find the cheapest, tackiest RSVP card you can, write your response in crappy, nearly run out biro, attach it to a mini bottle of Black Tower and send it.

Post-modern retro-ironic chic FTW.

Search YouTube for "gender reveal" and don't do any of those things.

Love the geocache idea but it's only 3 months till wedding so can't imagine they'll have time for it. Tempted by semaphore if I can persuade a large group to stand out and spell whole words rather then an individual doing each letter

In Winter Holiday by Arthur Ransome (children's story), the protagonists send each other secret messages. These are pictures of crowd scenes, but the important thing is what the people are doing with their arms (semaphore).

If you could get your large group to dress accordingly, they could be a crowd gathering for a wedding, or the bunch lined up for the start of a bike race, or anything else suitable to the interests of the happy couple (e.g. a group ready for ski-ing), on much the same principle.

Ah yes I have read most of the series. Would be brilliantly elaborate to do in real life...think the books do tail off a bit after that it was it pigeon post. Can't remember what order they go in.

I think Pigeon Post was the second. Or maybe third. Some of the later ones were good too, such as We Didn't Mean to Go to Sea, and Great Northern. Which has given me another idea: book covers, titles not visible, to represent letters or words. Might work better with movie posters.

Think we need to split this thread. RSVP and a discussion of Arthur Ransome literature.

Might try a celeb endorsement for the RSVP

Oh and think the later ones were tarred by coot club and the other one where they tried to set him up for letting the boats go which I can't remember the name of.

They used semaphore for messages, but wasn't it Missee Lee that had the crowd scenes with the secret messages.

Encode the message in DNA and soak it into the paper. Might only work for some very specialised guests though.
