Observed on the High Peak Trail Sunday 18th May

Due to medical issues we are both off the bike but we had the weekend off and spent it at Friden carpark in the Motor Home people watching. Saturday we had both a half and a full marathon through so we duly applauded then assisted with the litter pick for the water station.

Sunday was amazing, if there were five cyclists past there were well over 500. Notable were, the lady and hubby on an electric trike and bike who went off fully laden for a picnic, families with trail units, two disabled gents on hand powered trikes, and over a dozen tandems. The weather was stunning and what stunned us was the count between guys and girls was 50 -  50. The hard core mags that ignore the lassies are fooling themselves. It was truly wonderful to see.

May have seen you as we used high peak trail on tramway 100. Saw a couple sat outside their camper and we both commented that we should have kept ours. It's amazing the difference a week makes weather wise.
