And btw, I have a new consignment of ACME Flaps, I'll bring some along. I need to start an ACME shop thread for all the merchandise...
Hi Tom - do you have enough spare for me to reserve a couple of rear flaps? Not sure when I'd be able to pick them up, but happy to get some money to you via PayPal and collect them whenever if that works.

I'll join the peloton at the OT, or possibly earlier on the route if I manage to intercept.
You are in a maze of twisty flat droves, all alike.

So, are we on for the Compasses tomorrow?

I met NJW of this Parish at the Grand Tour de Stour on Saturday and if things work out we'll head over from Kelvedon and potentially look to intercept time dependant.

Yes, and that will be nice.  The Compasses always brings out the best in us so I'm sure we'll make a good impression!

Should be out next week, then:

On the IBT Tour for the following two Wednesdays...I'll raise a glass to ACME wherever we find ourselves.

If Littley Green is still on      https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27570202      Classic North Hill to the Compasses.
As we're back to the  Compasses tonight are we going to use the original proposed route?

If so I'll join the peloton at the top of North hill

I'm not doing the Church Road bypass COR, but other than that, yeah. Usual 20:10-ish arrival at the Generals and 21:00 at the Spiritual Home.

I’m sure you’re not, but I’m just double checking, are you suggesting you don’t want to view the beetles by moonlight?

I wouldn't want to miss that for the world.

I'll be at the Spa RAB at 7.30pm.
You may all have to wait for me at the top of that hill though.

I mean the bit between the Hammonds Rd & Plantation Rd junctions, looks like a RwGPSism.

ETA: And this route avoids the beetles on sticks, the route home will need to be different to this proposed one which goes to Ranks Green etc.

(Jem, you have actually been past the beetles at least once on Tomsk's Winter Series SAE audax but try to look surprised when OD points them out, just to humour him!)

Yes but not by Moonlight Huggy!
(don't tell him I know all about the shining the light on the beetles to make them look all bright and outter worldly in the moonlight - I dont' want to spoil it for him or make all his preparation have been for nothing.  ;)
