Sorry about radio silence folks. I have been away for a few days sorting the logistics, packing and dealing with utilities, council, eta., eta. For mllePB's father who has migrated fro. Wales to England. Busy imigrunts!*

I have a number of priority client jobs which take precedence but then I will be all over this and other things.

Unsure if I can commit to the Friday, things have 'developed' while we were on holiday.

Can I have a straw poll of anyone wanting a communal cookout on the Saturday night? And, PB, if you have any 'fluence with the peeps at Wing, is there a chance of somewhere flatter and a bit more sheltered than 'Cyclone Corner'? Not looking forward to cooking with one hand whilst using the other and a foot to hold the gazebo down...

The other camping field is exposed to the south west completely so would offer even less shelter imo.

Is anybody staying until Monday? Just asking like. I expect Cycleman and Apollo will be.

Our vague plan is to catch the train to Northampton on Friday and cycle to Wing via Market Harborough, returning the same way either Sunday or Monday.

At present the forecast is for moderate autumn temperatures, slight northerly winds and not too much sun. I'm wondering if I can really be so lucky!!!

Arriving late Friday afternoon, leaving Sunday, 'developments' have 'stabilised'. TFFT.

Won't have a bike with me - unless someone can find an extra couple of days between now & Thursday!

Will have a gazebo, tent and cooking stuff. I take it Friday night is 'fend for yourself'? Anyone want to split a Tesco curry for two?
