Gravel racing in Russia

The gravel racing scene is growing worldwide and the first race in Russia was held in June. There's a video of the race and, more so, of the meet, which makes it look oh so just like a YACF camping weekend. Apart from the badminton.

I have raced gravel many times, and won.

Some race it and lose. "Gravel and treachery will always defeat youth and enthusiasm," as someone might once have said.

I lost to gravel once, but it wasn't an even match as the gravel had physics on its side.

That's the thing; you race solo but gravel has a gang. It's the gs that will take you down.
