On the lonesome pine trail

The lonesome pine trail at Kielder, not the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia.

How tricky is it?

Marked as a red route so assume too much for beginners, but how serious is it?

Did most of this route yesterday. It was hard work as I haven't had any tuition on how to handle a bike over that kind of terrain. Did a fair bit then took a short   cut after Skyspace back to the main road. As we had rode up from Hawkhope on the other side of the dam we had done a fair ride.
