Here's mine from this morning...

The Pentlands from Bonaly, a nice view to start the day

Water of Leith, Colinton/Juniper Green.  I met a badger on this bridge once, and I often see a dipper here. Alas I've not yet seen the otters and kingfishers that are also reported but I live in hope...

Baberton, often good views of snow capped hills for much of the winter but hazy today

Union Canal, Wester Hailes

Union Canal, Sighthill

Work a little on the right, Arthur's Seat straight ahead, The Great Edinburgh Tram Fiasco on the left

Mine's the Croix der Fer

Nice foties, Mr RoJ, I hope all those stops didn't mean you were late for work!
It's a bit weird, but actually quite wonderful.

Yes, I'm afraid it did, it was after 8 by the time I got in.  That's why there was so much traffic in the foties, I was in the middle of the rush hour.

I had thought about taking photographs of my commute in, but checking goggle's "street view" it seems I don't need to.

If you're bored; find Lechlade and head out on Hambidge Lane towards Quenington and then on to A417 at Ampney St Peter / Ampney St Mary then to Cirencester.  From the state of the roads it looks as though goggle took the pictures in summer 2010.

Hmm I'll have to take a decent set of pictures of mine some time. Here's a few I have taken over the last year though: -

Don't know why  bother it's so dull :)

Lovely pics Mcshroom but for some reason you don't seem to have shown your arrival at your place of work.

My commute would be v dull in comparison, to and fro between branches of PC World, Staples, Cliwom Ministry of Praise International Winners Temple etc.  I did once make an audio recording of it.  It was a bit like Einstuerzende Neubauten's "Strategien Gegen Architekturen" album.

I think if I took that one I might be invited in to 'answer a few questions' by the site police ;)

But surely you're allowed to say where the photies were taken ?  And perhaps a clue as to your destination ?

PS I agree, what a dull commute, it must be really difficult to get out of bed for that...

It's a nice ride, but it does end up here
*

The photos were taken on the way home from work starting with one on the NCN 72 about a mile south of Beckermet, and the other three taken from the road above St Bees

* To remove all doubt - not taken by me (though I'd like to go up in the plane that took it some time)

No idea why.  After all, it was promoted as a tourist attraction for many years ;)

That was the visitors centre rather than the site itself. No photography inside the fence without using a company issued camera and with the right permit (despite being able to see anything you'd like to just about on Google Earth)

One from this morning. Nothing special, just nice to be able to stop and take one. ;D I'm on NCN1, that's Shornemead Fort in the background (although you'll have to take my word for it).

I love that stretch of NCN1 when the tide is high and you get the massive container ships towering over the marshes as they make their way into Tilbury. A bit surreal looking.

...... if the ship-spotters I meet are to be believed some of them run into the tens of thousands of tons (or tonnes perhaps).

This site is very good at giving you the comings and goings of Tilbury (and the rest of the world! :))

Bit of a cheat as I never see it like this from the bike, but I ride over it:

Yellowhammer, that's a much more interesting commute than mine, but I suspect it also gets a lot windier.
