The plan was to drive to Severn View straight after work, ride the Bryan Chapman 600, stay there Sunday night and drive straight to Kingston for 09:00 Monday morning. Half an hour ago, I find that I need to do an inspection from Canvey Island at 06:30 Monday.

I'll have to leave the hotel by 03:00 at the latest, drop HK at home and collect my steel-caps and continue on round the M25. Hopefully I'll have time to get some breakfast. Oh, joy!

Fed up sticking the SD card into the camera the wrong way round. I have 7(?) cameras and if there were 7 ways of doing it they'd all be different, but as it is two is enough. You'd think there'd be a 50-50 chance of getting it right, but believe me it's more like 90% wrong.

Oh, and there was ten times too much vinegar in the vinaigrette today, so that the salad went down like saw-blades. One is pissed off.

Two nights of poor sleep, the last on a horrible dead mattress with feather fucked pillows of doom and trains have turned my neck into a very unhappy neck. I have eaten all the drugs and going to have a fecking hot bath followed by going to sleep in my very nice bed with memory foam mattress!

This is pretty much my only complaint about Twitter - when I block someone, I want them blocked. Gone. Dead to me. What I don't want is that user's inane whitterings retweeted into my timeline, which is what happens at the moment.

Decent (i.e. non-web) Twitter clients can mute by text, hashtag or user which is nice, and really clever ones can mute by user agent which is occasionally useful.
