It has just rained in Didcot.

That's because i was out on my bike - somewhere dry. It's all carefully planned, you know; Brunel's legacy etc etc ...

Having just left Caerdydd, I should be passing through Didcot in about an hour.

Drunk?  More likely a hypoglycaemic mattc trying and failing to score a Ginsters and Frijj from the late night Shell.

Jack FM has a new trailer (I'm not making this up):

I can only assume that the Swindon edition of Jack FM isn't receivable in Didcot.

From the A420 just now, it looked as if Didcot was getting a right pasting from the thunderstorms.  I'm surprised we still have electricity here.

We've just had a 10 min outage here in N. Abbers.

Thunderstorms? It's sunny here.

You may think that, but I could not possibly comment...

Just moved and discovered that I can see Didcot if I go to the top of the hill out of the village :o. View safely obscured from village itself :D

A theme is emerging on Jack FM's jingles.  This one just now:

Replace Didcot with an airport?
Great idea. Flatten several mediaeval churches & upset some of the richest & best-connected nimbies, in one of the most crowded areas of the country, which also happens to mostly vote Tory but sometimes votes LD if annoyed enough.

Anyone remember the last time it was tried? I do.

Didcot was sunny and full of trainspotters. We left in a hurry.

I rode the last 7 miles home (including crossing town) yesterday without seeing a motorist.

I blame the recession.

Just sorting through my pictures from Andrij's Thames Path Meander. I couldn't resist snapping this from the train window as it passed through...

I didn't know Fawley was still going.  Oil-fired must rarely be economic, although presumably it burns the gunkiest crap from the bottom of the Sheikh's wells.

That says Didcot A is closing - presumably there is a Didcot B which will still run?

People are going about their business briskly in Didcot.

Possibly because there is a goods train in it that looks like it is carrying nuclear waste.
It is simpler than it looks.

Thanks for the warning.  I shall don my HazMat suit and run not walk to the car park.
