I got my home insurance renewal quote today, which probably should be more in the bad new thread.
But I decided to shop around for home insurance based soley on the amount of included cycle cover. I found that M&S (as was recommended by another yacfer) gave me £4000 per bike cover at home or away, with no stupid lock clauses. All this for £100 a year less than my previous home insurance policy. It has the same excess, and same unlimited buildings and £50k contents cover with the same legal protection and emergencies cover.
So basically I now don't need to shell out £200 a year for bike insurance for my 3 most valuable bikes and I have saved £100.
I also will get £45 cash back for using a cashback website's link, and I can pay montly for no extra. I would say that is a good result
