Not suitable for nut allergy sufferers due to the methods used in the manufacture? I wonder what methods of manufacture might be used to make a bag of peanuts suitable for those with nut allergies.

Peanuts are not technically nuts at all, so leaving out any kind of nutty [good|bad]ness during the processing thereof? I imagine some kind of nut oil is used.

Peanuts are I believe Legumes. But peanut allergy is what is being warned about I expect.

It's warning that peanuts may be contaminated with nuts and sesame. As someone who's allergic to sesame (but not peanuts - I just can't stand the fuckers), I appreciate that.

It should be a warning of that, but due to the common conception that peanuts are nuts (blame the word, let's give them a new name), I'm not sure that it is. It could be made clear with the word "tree nuts".

It's almost certainly a CYA warning because the peanuts are processed in a factory that also deals with nuts and sesame. Given that the packaging looks very much like it's the value brand from one of our major purveyors of toothy comestibles, I'm sure the warning will have been lawyered from here to doomsday, and is actually intended to mean what it says.
