Not ND as such, but I liked the coincidence of the leader of the Giro for the last couple of days is called Attila and he's Hungarian.

I don’t think we have a specific thread for inverse nominative determinism, but following hard on the heels of witless Tory clod James Cleverly is Ted Verity.  And his job?

I'm not sure it's actual nominative determinism, but...

The bronze-coloured urn, containing the remains of Paul Ash, were found by a member of the public near a house in Basingstoke, Hampshire, on 7 May.

I heard this story on that there new fangled wireless thingy, or should I say misheard? My ear substituted the "p" at the end of his name for a "ck"

Which, while it isn't quite nominative determinism, is humorous enough to retell in this section.

Was watching a BBC programme about forensics.

They were interviewing a lady who does forensic tests on mobile phones.

For those who know German, she has a cracking name for that job!

No, not that Michael Fish.  A different Michael Fish.

I didn’t say I voted for her!

She’s a party animal through and through and votes as she’s told to. The landlord of my local says she’s good company, and cares about local issues. I don’t know about the first, and as a senior member of the Tory party I’d be surprised if she is genuinely interested in anything less local than her own front door.

No, I didn't mean to imply that you did vote for her. You are a fine upstanding YACFer and I would be most surprised if you did vote for those appalling scumbags.

The BBC have just interviewed a consultant psychiatrist about murderer, necrophiliac and general weirdo David Fuller.  His name?
