I must confess I don't like the things.
It so happens I was driving across London some distance, last weekend, and cycling across London the weekend before. Passed a surprising number of these monsters, driven with varying levels of skill (I assume they're all chauffeur-driven).
I suppose there must be a lucrative business here. Last time I was in any sort of limo was at my mother's funeral, but it certainly wasn't a
stretch limo.
My main gripe is, seen from behind, they look rather like an ordinary car, you don't appreciate their length till you draw alongside. There's a clear and present hazard here. At least with a bus or lorry, it's obvious! I think they should carry a LONG VEHICLE sticker, with the usual red and yellow stripes, on the rear. Or would that make them so un-cool that no-one would want to be seen in them, hence ruin the trade?
