Zoom and a video tour
« on: 30 April, 2020, 08:16:18 am »
Bear with me on this . . .    we moved house recently and our far-flung children and grandchildren have asked if we can do a virtual tour using Zoom .... not exactly "Through the keyhole" but you get the idea!

I get how Zoom works when the participants are all sitting in front of the devices ..... what I'm trying to understand is how to walk around the house with the camera and give a commentary over the picture.

Camera can be either a Lenovo tablet (preferable) or a Motorola phone - both have cameras back and front.  The obvious is just to walk round with the camera/screen facing away from me and hope that I'm capturing the views - and speaking with the descriptions - BUT is there a way I can walk round AND see what they are seeing.

Ideas/instructions please ... and keep it simple!

Using a phone, just switch to the back camera, you'll still see what they see on your phone screen

Cracked it - the screen switching on the tablet is a bit strange but after some experimentation it works.
