Making wine drinkable

Well, the wine in question (Via Vecchio Delle Venezie pinot grigio) is drinkable — just.  IIRC it was a gift.  Felt like a white wine today, saw I had a bottle 'in stock', so chilled it then cracked it open.

Any recommendations on making it more palatable (mixing it with something, perhaps?) or are my choices basically drink it as is or dump it?

Bog-standard Italian pinot grigio usually tastes of very little to me.

If it tastes grotty, I'd just use it as drain cleaner - life's too short to drink bad wine, and you only get one go at it (life).

There are some very good examples of Italian pinot grigio, but it sounds as if this isn't one of them

LOL.  If only I had known!  I opened the bottle to wash down the chicken I roasted earlier today.

The more I drink of it, the easier it goes down.  This could be a Bad Thing.

No cassis in the cupboard — must pick up a bottle.

Looks like I'll finish this glass then clean some drains.

I'm with Mal Vino on this.

Down the sink with it, if it's shit. You can get drinkable wine for £5 a bottle, so there's no point inflicting that on yourself

Make mulled wine with it.
If you add enough sugar and spices you won't taste the wine much.
