Yeahbut then you'd have spiders   :hand:

For some time I was puzzled by swallows coming into my barn a flitting around like they owned it.

It then occurred to me they were on a spider hunt.

This is the point where it's vitally important not to swallow anything.
Interesting use of the word 'swallow'.

I am intrigued by your interest in the use of the word 'swallow'.

It depends if it's an African or European fly.

The other solution is to cycle around in your house. Flies, as we all know are attracted to the tonsils of a hard working cyclist

Flies can't actually go very fast, though, so you could put your house in a centrifuge.  Or fit it with wheels and roll it down a hill.

The powered rackets are satisfying to use. The plug in shop style ones are great.

Be careful with those racket zappers if you have leaking gas cylinders!

I can almost imagine Charlotte deliberately allowing gas out of a cylinder for controlled explosions ignited with a fly-swat.
