My Physio always tells me planks are one thing I should never do.


Interesting - what's the reasoning?

Not good for people doing endurance sport; over-stresses too many muscles and generates too much lactic acid, was her reasoning, IIRC.

They’re part of the abs & core routine I’ve been doing, but I think she might have a point.
