Peacemaker meets Hummer
« on: 06 June, 2008, 04:55:06 pm »

To truly show off the ridiculous size of this I had planned to rest the bike on the grille, but didn't really want a redneck coming out threatening me with his shotgun.

Till I realised I was in Edinburgh and it had probably just dropped Tarquin and Jessica off at school.

A gorl was sitting at another bench nearby in animated conversation on her phone. It would appear I was invading her privacy as she rather annoyedly turned to face the other way.

And continued speaking in the same loud manner.

And that, combined with the Hummer, and the beer can, kinda summed up a side of Edinburgh in one photo....

I read the title and thought I'd see a picture of Hummers. As the image was downloading I read the first few words "To truly show off the ridiculous size of", Hummers is a big chap but steady on !!!

Peace is much prettier than war-toy.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

Couldn't those bars be adapted as rocket launchers?

Beer can?  Where's the empty Bucky bottle?

(I saw one on the steps up to Calton Hill in October).

Looking at that picture, does anyone else think that GM's design team must have missed the lecture on compound curves?

That is plugly.

Still, it will be a collectors item soon!
It is simpler than it looks.

Is that what the fabled Hummer looks like?!
How hideous.

Anth, your bike is lovely as would be expected.

The H1 didn't look to bad, but was 98% proper millitary vehicle.  The H3 is basically a tonka toy on a Chevrolet Colorado chassis.

The Peacemaker looks lovely ;D

The Hummer H2 is as rare as a Ford Mondeo in Florida.  It's worrying to think that these things sell so well given the current (green) climate.

The poor Peacemaker must be sooo traumatised by being exposed to such fugliness.

Book it in for therapy immediately
