Well, well , well ... here is a geriatric beginning to pick up a little riding after a long time off .. who found that one of his Legend HCX had this problem ..I am sure that historically it was OK .. but maybe after a long layoff the garmin was scrambled.
This thread found the solution to the problem .. and I now have two correctly dated Legends .
