Good news: Pugsley will be arriving on Monday ;D

Bad news: I broke a bloody tooth eating a muesli bar last night - OK, so it's a tooth that's getting crowned anyway so the breakage may not be that big a deal, but it's still bloody annoying :(

Bad news:  I couldn't find my ticket to see Josie Long tonight.

Good news:  I telephoned them, and it was actually never sent out.  I am expected.

Bad news:  I spent ages looking for it, and have confirmed that I'm a total Div

Good news:  Going to see Josie Long tonight!  Hurrah!   :D

Bad News:
I discovered at the end of last week that the guy who was supposedly going to buy my house hadn't got a mortgage offer (3 weeks before completion)!

So: House back on market.

Good News:
There were 10 viewings over last weekend.  I now have a new buyer, a sale agreed at the asking price, only one extra link added to the chain and the upper part of the chain has stayed intact! Hooray!!!   ;D :smug:

God news; We finallly bit the bullet and ordered a new bed - it was £500 less than the manufacturers list price we'd seen at the factory.

Bad news; My car was serviced today. What with new brakes, new tyre and new antifreeze that came to the thick end of £500

Bad news, the pipes were frozen this morning. No shower.

Good news, they appear to have defrosted without a leak and I'm fragrant again.

Good news, I'm off the the yoo-ess-ayy for 4 weeks later this year

Bad news, I've just realised it's the 4 weeks immediately prior to their election, so wall to wall politics...

Business or pleasure? And, more importantly, anywhere interesting?

(I ask mainly 'cos I'm up to my eyes in US-related stuff relating to next year's possible holiday in the 49th state ...)

Pleasure hopefully. Flying to Las Vegas from Manchester and hoping to do a similar route to these two through Nevada, Arizona & Utah.

Bad: Just learned one of the guys I used to performed with died Friday afternoon, so looks like I need to pack for a funeral as well.
;D  Andrij.  I pronounce you Complete and Utter GIT

Good News: the children are playing in the garden for the first time since I started in November (it's tiny and up steep steps) They are having a lovely time hitting nature with sticks :D

Bad News: There may have been some real live plants in the flower bed where the sticks are :-[. Still I expect the hardy ones will survive being stomped on by small wellies ;D.

Good news - I picked up a shiny new Delorme road atlas of Arizona from the post office for my trip later this year.

Bad news - It's not pannier friendly and I only need 1/3 of it, so it's going to be butchered with a Stanley knife. I _hate_ doing this, it makes me feel like a vandal  :(

I'm back on the bike again for the first time in weeks .....YAYYYYYYY!!!!

Hmmm. Pre flight check show fairy visitation for Pompetamine front wheel....BOOOOOO

But that is why we have and can justify a stable, step forward old faithful Marin....YAYYYYYY!

Hmmmm. Mid flight check shows seat tube cracking, rather badly (is there any other sort?). BOOOO

So this could be a good time to n+1 it, what is more it is the Cycle Scheme entrance time at work, must be a sign.....YAYYYYYY!!!

But then I will have to get this past Front Door Customs Control. BOOOOO

<edit post phone call> it appears Marin provide lifetime warranty on the frame, YAYYYY!!!!!

But that means n+1 is a non-starter...... BOOOO

bad news: shouting match with my boss over progressing some paperwork, he wanted it progressed quickly so we can invoice, I said I have to wait for references and carry out due diligence
good news: discovered potential identify theft and fraud on the paper work I was supposed to progress. So waiting for a phone call, and then a phone call to the police to try get the bugger caught

There is an HTC Sensation XE Beats sat charging on my desk.

The bad

Good news... I have heard today that my references have been approved and I can arrange start date for my new job!  About time too, the interview was held in December, so there's been a lot of waiting.

Bad News...this is the first time I will have worked full-time since Before Children...and that was twenty years ago...feeling very apprehensive.  Will also have to work 'long days' on a rota basis that includes weekends...but at least there will be no nights.

Good news - bobb and I are in Portree.

Bad news - the weather is so very very awful we don't want to leave the b&b.
