I recently started re-watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.  Last night, amongst others, I watched the episode Dax which includes one of my favourite lines.

The last 3 episodes (but not previous ones) the credits have listed someone as 'Body double Saga'. I can't think of why she may have needed one? [/spoiler]

Re-shoots where she wasn't available? More common than you think in film, suspect that TV would do it too.

Sacha Baron Cohen on C4 by the sounds of it. For fans of Chris Morris' Cake episode.

The Joy Of Winning on BBC4 last night.  A bit of cycling too (David Millar talking about doping).

I found that series very hard to watch, but watched all of it, squirming in empathetic embarrassment even at the most awful of his victims. I didn't find much of it what I would call 'funny'.

Not tonight, but do if you can catch up with “The Mighty Redcar”, brilliant television.

Spent the last couple of evenings catching up on Bodyguard. Cracking telly. Very Jed Mercurial - if you like Line Of Duty... He has that knack of making things feel very realistic even while they’re just beyond plausibility.

Final episode tonight. Should be a corker.

Just watched that and now I'm going to have to download the whole lot and start from the beginning, like I had to with "The Night Manager".

An all too brief appearance by you but what a ride that cycleway is  It was stunning (prob. less so in the wind/rain).The programme is on My5 player via Freeview. The following programme about abandoned railways was excellent. I never knew Lossiemouth looked like that and that there was a beautiful bridge over the Spey that one can cycle over.

Well, that all went a bit mental. Not an entirely satisfactory ending but still very enjoyable.

Now to catch up on Killing Eve...

We're just getting through "The Bridge".  My goodness it must be hard playing Saga!!  Should finish that tonight, then there's either "Cardinal" or a cop drama set in Wales that I can't immediately recall the name of (not Hinterland, it's a new one).

Yeah, I really enjoyed it. The main story stays just the right side of the line with regard to plausibility, while also being suitably gruesome. A bit more of Cardinal's backstory is revealed, and Delorme becomes a more developed character, which is good. The plot strand involving his wife also moves along significantly.

Apparently the second series is based on the third novel - don't know why they skipped the second. A third series is already in production, which will be based on the fourth and fifth novels. Might even give the books a go.

IIRC they repeated S1 before S2 started.
