Well the weather looks a bit better, I'm sure Steve is listening to his body and tempering his enthusiasm with common sense.

Lol, I was thinking a full Godwin day rather than the year, 205.66 miles.  But this is Teethgrinder so who knows?

I read this out to my OH Sue and she said `James Law is : in any social context the more he says the more likely he` s going to talk about cycling`  ::-)
....after the `tarte de pommes`, and  fortified by a couple of shots of limoncellos,  I flew up the Col de Bavella whilst thunderstorms rolled around the peaks above

The average speed today was 23.1km. Steve was hoping to be riding 240-260 miles a day in May. If all heals well perhaps he'll be up there in 2-3 weeks? It wouldn't surprise me!
