Metoffice forecast is moderate NW winds, so not a lot of anywhere for TG to hide - I guess he can skirt around the Wash and head into Suffolk before hoping the wind dies down tonight for a return home.  Rather him than me today.

Wonder if he left something at the Premier Inn, or if it was just some tracker weirdness?

I hope Steve has got over whatever has been cutting back his recent mileage.

If Facebook is anything to go by, it's a dietary change that's temporarily knocked back his performance.

Well the new diet had better pay off soon or he'd have been better off sticking with what he was eating previously.

The implication on FB seems to be that his health was deteriorating because of his diet, so it's been changed.

I think my health might deteriorate after the best part of a year knocking out 200+ miles a day on the bike!

Speed well down again today compared with what he was achieving so the poor lad is obviously suffering badly.

Steve's Strava uploads seem to be a bit less consistent than previously - hope this isn't going to cause any issues with UMCA. Am I the only one that sometimes wonders if he has got home safely? Maybe I'm just too pessimistic... ::-)

Hope he isn't feeling too rough on the new diet and that adjustment is quick.

Edit: delays in Strava uploads seem to be due to not resetting Garmin overnight, and leaving tail end of previous day on the next day. This has a couple of downsides though 1. the privacy zone doesn't work unless it's at the start or end of the ride. 2. If the Garmin is left on (as it seems to have been at least once), then the indoor drift adds spurious distance to the Strava track.
