Warsaw–Minsk–Vilnius–Warsaw

I’ve wanted to visit Belarus for some time and the opportunity came up with the 2019 European Games being held in Minsk and the visa-free entry possibility. Cycling is fairly popular both for transport and for sport, but cycling on the road is not actually legal. It’s generally tolerated, surprisingly for a country where rules are paramount but you are expected to use the pavement where there is one.

Stats

Km: 1,300
Punctures: 1
Statues of Lenin:100s

Summary

The landscape is tedious; the architecture is uninteresting; the food is inedible. The people are friendly enough, considering. 2/10. Unlikely to go again.

I may post some pictures when I get back.
