Garmin charging from Exposure lights

As mentioned in this article from another thread:

I took two Exposure Joysticks and a Diablo, and I had some Piggyback batteries for those that I could also use to extend the range on my Garmin. I could use the lights as chargers for the Garmin as well

So how is that done?

Does it work with the Exposure Revo (dynamo powered)?

I thought I read on here recently that it does:

There's 2 ports: one for the dynamo in, and one remaining smart-port for whatever, including this.

It's something I'm quite interested in myself.

This, I think:

I've been considering trying one.

I was just thinking that the only way it could be done would involve a custom made connector - I had no idea the above item existed! And the whole voltage thing just didn't occur to me anyway.

That's fab - my Exposure Piggyback is sorely underused.
