Wondering why I don't enjoy the calming effects of my Steely Dan albums more often.

And feeling my engorged man-boobs.

Me?  I'm sitting here trying to get the motivation to do some ironing, and wondering if I'll get on the bike in the morning...
Getting there...

Just avin me dinner prior to going to see the new Bond film

What did you think of it?

I thought it was utter crap, and it was the first film in ages that there was a steady stream of people getting up and walking out of the cinema.

Trying to finish of a load of waffly padding in a quote for a customer who needs it by 9am tomorrow. I've done the pricing last week it's all the waffle that I hate doing.

Right finished it and Emailed it to the sales guy. I'm off to bed now.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

I'm watching the OC while trying to decided whether to go to work. I think I will go to work, but work from the local campus.

Waiting at Waverley for the Kings Cross train. It's quite warm today by Scottish standards. I didn't need my Mrs Wow-knitted hat and mittens. (They came in handy last night, though, when I walked back to the hotel in sleet...). Very toasty!

idly browsing while I think about what the day may have in store.

Do I take a mortgage and buy my brother's half of our parents house? Do I make that my home? Do I sell my existing house? Do I rent our existing house to cover mortgage/ Do I do nothing and stay where I am? Do I get a headache just thinking about what I need to think about ?

They are pretty cool.  I'm doing Book 9, the preparation for the Battle of Plataea, which is a tad dull in places.

Discussing with a colleague about how the stuff on a flow chart doesn't flow, it ends up in a stagnant lagoon full of social work algae and fetidness.

It was a bad meeting.

LOL! That reminds me of when we were coming home from meeting the PM at #10 with my 86 Yr old Mum (Land Army presentation).

She is almost completely blind, so tends to be made jump easily, esp by loud noises. It was a hot day, and train was rammed, so all the windows were open. Whilst she was doing fine as long as I warned her when the next tunnel was coming ( for those who don't know, the train hoons along there at about 100, and the sequence of tunnels are LOUD) I didn't anticipate an oncoming train in the tunnel - and the noise was incredible. My poor old ma levitated a good couple of inches off the seat, still in a perfect seated position, eyes wide as dinner plates, and she grabbed hold of the woman sitting next to her.

My oh my how we laughed at her .
