If any police officer pulls me over for failing to wear a helmet, their Chief Constable is going to get one helluva snotty letter.

I'm clearly a bicycle thief, since I wear cycling clothes, carry a pannier, and several hundred pounds worth of bike lights, just so I look the part. $:-\$

Looking at a box that arrived only a couple of minutes ago. It is from Thorntons

Currently I'm going ouch and rubbing my finger where I've just managed to put a blister on it when using a very small drill bit to slightly enlarge some holes in a board. Stupid stupid stupid. Not that there was an easy alternative available... $:-\$

I've taken delivery of a faulty new thermometer (the minimum marker was in the alcohol bulb when it arrived this morning) $:-\$ , I've emailed Brannan who have already replied and said that they will despatch a better quality thermometer than I paid for, and now it's time to make breakfast. Porridge, tea, bread & marmalade, anyone?
