ULEZ to cover whole of Greater London

London's Ultra-low Emissions Zone is being expanded to cover the whole of Greater London by the end of 2023, Sadiq Khan has announced.

Compared with how long it's taken to establish "clean air zones" of much lesser impact in some other cities, I'd like London's special transport bubble to be expanded nationwide, please.

(This topic feels there should be a meta thread for, you know, random road stuff, that it would fit into, but I couldn't find one.)
Riding a concrete path through the nebulous and chaotic future.

It's only a proposal currently, but fingers crossed.

As per the following BBC coverage, "The expansion proposals will now be subject to a public and stakeholder consultation."
