How does one extract said safety information from inside BEAR er, safely?

I expect it’s like those umpteen pages of safety information you get in the manual of any anbaric device you've bought in the last thirty years before they grudgingly include a blurred diagram telling you where the on/off switch is.  There are no user-serviceable parts inside a BEAR, and they don’t have an on/off switch.

Some were pure guesses though.

9 for me. I feel really affronted that there are forummers who know less about Brenda and her clan than I do. And I did know the majority of my answers and guessed only one.

EO Aquitaine sez you all have to stay behind after school and revise.  No jelly & ice cream until you're fully cognisant of all Missis Kwin facts.  Or you'll get your head chopped off.

1 - don't know, don't care
2 - don't know, don't care
3 - haven't the foggiest
4 - ooh, I know this one - but it's not actually about Brenda so does it really count?
5 - I know this one too - everyone knows this one, surely?
6 - DILLIGAF?
7 - somewhere outrageously opulent maintained at taxpayers' expense, I'm sure
8 - this is taking the piss - two subjects I haven't the remotest shred of interest in
9 - one of those "it's got to be the most surprising answer otherwise they wouldn't bother asking the question" type questions, so I can guess the answer to this one quite easily
10 - I know this one - it's one of those facts smartarses can't help telling you to show how clever they are
11 - got to be the obvious answer
12 - I'm not even interested in her speaking English
13 - wevs
14 - I know this one
15 - the answer I want to put isn't an option...
16 - oh fuck off
17 - stupid question that only stupid people will get wrong*
18 - I know this

So 8/18

Six. Most of those were guesses, as I take zero interest in the monarchy. Though I was disappointed that Elizabeth von Saxe-Coburg und Gotha doesn't speak German.

FlightRadar has just bombed out on me. Also I didn’t get to see any of them overflying Suffolk because although they were only a mile or so south of me, they were only at 800 to 1500 ft.

So I’m watching the fly past on the TV, the only bit of jubilee coverage I shall see.

I seem to have got a solid 7, based mainly on guesswork and knowing things that aren't about the queen.

1. Guess incorrectly - London seemed too obvious.
2. Guessed 15.
3. 7 ought to be enough for anyone.
4. Applied genuine Queen Victoria knowledge from primary school, for the correct answer.
5. Safe to assume it wasn't David Attenborough, I guessed incorrectly.
6. Guessed correctly, but none of those are things.
7. Guessed incorrectly.
8. Knew she wasn't an Aries, guessed incorrectly from the remaining options.
9. The saga of Charles's Prestel account is well-known, but didn't realise she had form for ARPANET.
10. Guessed correctly.
11. Knew she didn't have a driving licence, in spite of Landrover 5k|11z.  Guessed correctly.
12. Guessed incorrectly.
13. Went with the rude option.  Was wrong.
14. Was the year of the E. coli 157 outbreak, I remember the puns.
15. Wot no Horlicks?
16. Clearly a setup for a pun on royal seals.
17. The 'Make it look like an accident 007' meme refers.
18. Off-by-one error.

I did OKish on that quiz yesterday but got full marks today, showing my short-medium term memory for trivia is fine.

I'm normally a little miffed when a farmer muckspreads, but the distinct and unavoidable aroma of shit hanging around today fits the jubilee to perfection.
