Never thought I'd see the day!

I'd heard that the Chinese had been buying the occasional Bordeaux vineyard but never thought I'd see Chinese wine in a rural French supermarket:

Dynasty Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine is made from red grapes grown in China and aged in oak barrels in our cellar.  2009.  Wine, product of China.  Produced and bottled by the Sino-French Joint Venture Dynasty Winery Ltd., Tianjin.  P.R.C.

3.75 euros.

Haven't tried it yet..

Light, like a flat Lambrusco, slightly sweet with a mild hint of Benyllin.  One for Experience.
