Title: Muslim funeral question

I'm taking my mum to her neighbour's funeral service at the local mosque. Are men and women separated at Muslim funerals?

Looks like they can attend, be in the same room, but separated in a men - children - women order front to back, but women arent usually allowed at the actual interment.
