Pannier advice

I’m not exactly sure where to put this, but here seems the best fit.

One for the more aesthetically minded I think. It’s a request from Ms Beardy the younger. (Mo). She wants a pannier for her new velo that needs to be practical, pretty  and can be worn as a backpack. Having spoken to her, practical can be read as robust, waterproof etc, pretty can probably be read as pink, but variations on that are ok. Not red apparently.

Obviously I can look at the usual suspects but if anyone knows of any esoteric brands or has something in the shed somewhere I’m all ears.  :D

Similarly, have a scroll through the luggage section of $sensible_german_bike_shop_that_doesn't_ship_to_the_uk_any_more and marvel at the variety of practical and/or pretty items that we simply don't get over here.

They ship to me just fine. Let me know if you want anything forwarded...

I think these are all shoulder bag / panniers rather than backpacks, but might be the right sort of style:

How about https://goodordering.com/collections/all-panniers/products/monochrome-rolltop-backpack-pannier-yellow, or similar from their range?

They look brilliant - and not just in the colour sense. Absolutely exactly what I need, and I didn’t even know it until now...

Some of the other options listed on Cyclechic look pretty good too.
