95 year old Jewish Composer, whose death was announced in today's JC.

His late mother and brothers attended the same synagogue as my parents.

Two of his nephews, both named David are FB friends. I've known D(dark) since he was about 4 years old. D (blond) once dated my sister and is a journalist.

Any relation to the poet Michael of that Ilk?  Wikinaccurate notes that Michael Horovitz was one of ten siblings but neglects to say whether any of the others are famous.

Michael was the one related to the ones I know, and Joseph was not so mmediate.

I used to vaguely know Michael's son Adam. Never heard of Joseph before though.
