A LBS has just quoted me a month's wait to get hold of a basic road bike groupset  :-\ Can anyone beat that?

A month is very good at the moment. Delivery dates for some cycle parts is into 2023. Shimano seems worst hit, various reasons. SRAM seems most obtainable of the usual suspects.

I ordered a guitar last August. I expect to collect it in July.

I think I've ordered a car, September 2021 at easliest

There's an obvious reason SRAM have less of a problem, they have to make more because their stuffs made of cheese and people are daft enough to keep paying over the odds to replace it.

Some of the high end SRAM stuff is still showing 2023 for delivery.
