No mention of Birmingham New St yet?
Certainly a strong contender.  Especially the old underpass level, where you could die of old age waiting for one of the lifts that went to surface level, where you'd eventually appear behind the bins.
Continuing the dimly lit Brutalist monstrosities with noxious odours theme, I'll nominate the pathology block of Northwick Park Hospital.  Not that it's been the same since they banned staff from smoking in the office areas.

But Northwick Park has a paternoster with its own Twitter handle...

I remember visiting some at Northwick Park Hospital in 1963 - first time I'd seen a Paternoster - couldn't understand why you didn't come down it head-first  ;D ;D -  I've only ever seen a couple of others, one at a hospital somewhere and one at a newspaper in Stockholm where i got to ride on it (and came down feet-first having been "over the top")

Coventry post WW2 has to be in there somewhere. (I have been to Bergen Belsen).

The Barracks car park was pretty awful.

The old library at Birmingham University had paternosters.  Standard trick was to dare someone to ride around the bottom/top, then press the emergency stop button and leg it.  The maintenance guys were a bit fed up of it, I expect.
Hard work sometimes pays off in the end, but laziness ALWAYS pays off NOW.

Only experience of Paternosters was at the then Aston Poly (now Uni) in the late 1960s. I worked at Rover, must have gone there for a presentation of some sort.

Suburbian (Bellshill?) Glasgow, circa 2001. Around 11 am, it was about to open. Went in through the back door to meet a man who owed us some money. The smell above and beyond the Jeyes fluid together with the squelch were memorable in a very bad way. But we got what we wanted and left ASAP.

Statoil's hq in Stavanger.

Brutalist is not quite the right word to describe it.

Fucking horrible place to work!
