No cycling orders

A cyclist has been fined for cycling through a couple of car parks.

Ya ya, so he breached some sort of protection order. But the question I have is this: Are such protection orders signposted? Can you get into the area in question by any means without going past a sign saying you can't cycle there?

I've had this with Canterbury highstreet. Not all side roads say you're going into a pedestrian zone, which causes issues when some cop stops you.

If it's not sign posted, how are you expected to know that you can't cycle there?

Well I can’t comment on signposting, but I would expect so in MarloweS which, far from being a car park, is the main pedestrianised shopping street in Hemel town centre, and has been so for decades. No place to cycle (or indeed use one of those bloody electric scooters).

I’m more puzzled by the Water Gardens car park offence, but again I’d assume there was signage.

The Google 2020 street view images seem to show a lack of signage. That would certainly be grounds for appeal for the car park ones.  Many a more serious motoring offence has been dismissed in that way.

I kind of want to try my luck with that excuse, here...

Without up to date street view from the local road, I can't confirm that it's the same signage the other side, but it very much looks that way.
