Catch it in iPlayer, “Tish”, a film about a female documentary photographer from the North East. Some stunning images.

It is bloody good.

Some really superb performances. Really can't fault the casting.

For the less die-hard fans among us, the Giro d’Italia highlights are on DMax at 7pm starting next Saturday.

We’ve just been catching up with the first series. Enjoyed it. Ending was a bit predictable though, and it teeters on the edge of cheesiness in places. A lot of Line of Duty influences. Richard Dormer is great.

Will watch the second series.

I wanted to like Blue Lights, but found it rather soapy considering how seriously it appears to take itself. That and a little too much police propagandising.

We recorded, with no great expectation, “Coastguard” on Ch 5. It was truly excellent with no over-dramatic voiceover, in fact no voiceover at all

Baby Reindeer, on Netflix.

Ideal for easy viewing when you don't want anything too taxing.

Having finished Blue Lights, Traces and Trapped, we are in need of something new.

Tried 'The Gentlemen'. Good lord, what a load of teenage wank. Lasted less than one episode.

We're one episode into After the Flood. Seems promising.
