Ferry across the Gironde from Royan en route from near Lyon to Bordeaux.

The ferry crosses to Les Landes which is all pine trees and sand dunes. The name means heath.

Unfortunately the bike was on the car deck, so no pic

Another ferry on the Lagos tour 2019.
Tip don't book the 3 ferries to Bariloche in Porto Varas , just buy at Petrohue. A cafe owner said you don't need to pay extra booking thro a tour company and they may issue a one day ticket thats no use for cyclists because of the time it takes to reach the 2nd ferry.

The iconic Corran Ferry week before last. Eldest daughetr & I took bikes in the car from the Fort to Nether Ardgour and rode down to Kingairloch and back. Loafed on the beach at the turn.
