I don't think I've posted this before. Not in Devon but in northern Norway. It was near a house displaying many such homemade signs. This was one of the least silly.

It's more serious than that



The bottom bit is quite sensible. Before big climbs they would say for example 1km - 5 km, which meant that you (yes you, the HGV driver) have a kilometer warning and there'll inevitably be a layby where you can put chains on your tyres if necessary.

One of the map mods for ETS2 has a road sign warning of måting møøse.  Unfortunately it’s on Svalbard, where the møøse population is 0.

An estate agent's sign consisting of a Union Jack which at first sight appeared to have splots of paint on it, as if someone had thrown paint at it. From a less acute angle they formed the shape of a lion's head and up closer, it became clear this was the logo of Team GB.
