Helmets for long heads?

I require an additional helmet as what I have now (a Kask Mojito) is not quite comfortable enough on my weirdly elongated H.R. Giger esque Alien cranium

Are those in the know able to furnish me with recommendations?

Try Uvex.
As the owner of a big boney bonce, I too have tried Kask and found them the wrong shape. I get on fine with Uvex cycling helmets which seem adaptable to different headshapes.
