I definitely saw a bekilted teuchter playing the ~~haggis~~ bagpipes on the distascope last night but switched over to BBC1 sharpish before he could get out of second gear.

Poor bloody dog's alternating between not being able to piddle and not being able to contain it, unfortunately in antiphase to when he's out of doors. Getting a bit better than it was but am considering changing my moniker to Mr. Mop.

Bad Cat's delightful response to me being home from a trip was to throw up on me. And then wander around the room throwing up on other things before finally depositing a big blade of offending grass on the floor. At least it wasn't the full cat food burp and I needed to do some washing anyway. I missed you too, Bad Cat.

Simon has left a clothes drawer slightly open.
Kiri is desperate to enter this drawer and is scrabbling at the gap to make it big enough for herself to fit through. She hasn't succeeded but there are now cycling jerseys sticking out. She looks sad and defeated.

Three weeks after being wormed, the other day Pete yakked a giant roundworm onto my kitchen floor.

He's currently snoring.

Back when we had a garden pond our young Leonberg delighted in fetching out water-lily plants, roots and all, and parading round the garden with them.

Tilly the dog and Hazel the cat just finished a 30 minute silent stare off. One each side of the child gate that stops Tilly chasing Hazel down the hall.

Oh bugger. Right place for him/her, definitely. Tilley once helped herself to some chocolate cake and the vet made her vomit it all up (and yes, Tilley then tried to eat the vomited chocolate cake, of course). Hope puss is OK tomorrow.

There appears to be some confusion as to whether raisins are toxic to cats in the same way as dogs, so she's basically digging a big hole in the credit card just in case they are.

One of them is being sick.

Trouble is, I don't know which one. So it could be a double cat carrier to the vet, given that they don't get on.

So I picked Pumpkin up at the emergency vet at 0730, told her temp was down and she is probably OK to go home but to go see my vet first. Get to my vet and her temperature is back up so they're keeping her in,

Since I've been home Ninkasi has barfed about four times and is looking sorry for herself, so she's going at 2. And Pingu's away.
Sigh.
