BEYOND THE DYKE
200km
2nd October 2021

Dwell with the Marcher Lords in the border bad lands of England and Wales. King Offa may be dead but this part of the country remains remote and sometimes wild. Good for the autumn too!
I am sure you will be asking, is this another Kidderminster Killer type event? No it is not. Whilst hilly in parts, there are plenty of good easy bits in between but suffice to say you will feel pleasantly tired and rewarded at the end of the day.

Across the Dyke was conceived years ago by the late Alan Mason. The event was resurrected in 2018 and received good reviews for the route but not for the wet weather.
The new and popular E-Brevet will be available for phone users.

Controls:
- Cleobury North Info
- Craven Arms free control
- Dolau info
- Presteigne free control

Start and finish:
- Belbroughton in north Worcestershire: Light breakfast foods available at the start with a veggie chilli for finishers.

King Offa has decreed that his Mercian regiment of audaxers is now three quarters full with a small number of places remaining available.

Please do not leave it too late to join this invading army of audaxers from Belbroughton seeking to raid Powys on the other side of Offa's Dyke.
