It's one of my dodgy-compost parsnips - the ones that went straight into the ground as seeds were a little more pleasing to the eye.

All taste the same though!

(I'm thinking of getting it an audition for the next series of Dr Who).

That, sir, is a magnificent parsnip! And the parsnip is the king of root vegetables. You could get a good price for that from Hummers.

But still recognisable as a parsnip (with a magnifying glass)
