Found this about health and safety nonsense

interesting amusing and informative.
The APT/Pendilino example is a good one plus Frank Duckworth's logarithmic risk analysis - got me thinking about the way we look at risk.
- It's the same sort of thing we get with headlines 'Drug xxx gives a 2x Cancer risk' (when the actual risk of dying from said cancer is very low)
